This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.


There is a chance of thunderstorms tonight, especially in the
Illinois River Valley. Thunderstorms are expected to be in a
weakening phase as they move across central and southeast Illinois,
though could still produce some locally gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.


There is a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday night in the Illinois
River Valley.

Thunderstorms are likely area wide Thursday night with the potential
for locally heavy rainfall.

There is a another chance of thunderstorms, mainly across southeast
Illinois Friday.

Additional thunderstorms are possible over the weekend and especially
early next week.

Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...

Illinois River at Peoria affecting Peoria, Tazewell and Woodford
Counties.

.The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with interests along this river need to remain aware of the
latest forecasts and associated flood risk for their area. Stay
tuned for further updates on this flooding situation.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING UNTIL FURTHER

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Illinois River at Peoria.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Some flooding begins to bottomland not
protected by levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 19.1 feet
early Friday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
